This is what I see through one of my kitchen windows. It faces the back side of the house and gets the western sun. I've been working on cleaning windows this afternoon and it took me hours to get two of them done and the ones all around the front door, which I've posted on my Chronicles site.

Well, it's not exactly red. I guess it's more of a light 'brick' color. And you should see the countertops. They're pink!!! And the cabinets are white. I think it was all the rage in 1968 when it was done. I know this because I found the design book for the entire house in one of the old cupboards!
I'd have a difficult time tearing myself away from this view. It's cheerful and serene all at the same time. i hope you and your hubs will be happy in your new home for a long time. Also, i love the photo hubs took of the full moon. It was spectacular last week. Did you see my moon photo on my blog?
