Orange you glad it's autumn?

Photobucket
I loved knock knock jokes as a child and one of my favorites was the banana one. Yes, you remember that one, don't you?

Here's to autumn and crisp nights and soft warm sunshine. Here's to the earth changing colors. Here's to something different.

here's to crisp leaves underfoot, and the smell of woodsmoke, and the feel of a wool blanket over your lap as you sit and enjoy the stars...

Amen, sister!

Don't you love gerbera daisies? They are such a happy flower!

What a beautiful shade of orange. I almost cried. It reminded me that my husband gave me $300. for my birthday last week and told me to enjoy myself. I went to Talbots and found marvelous orange leather loafers with tassles and a wonderful matching orange handbag. It was Hermes orange! Wanting to check with the daughter, the fashion plate, to see what she thought I didn't buy them that day. Husband got wind of this and said.."I wouldn't spend that money if I were you, with the bad economy and all." What a buzz kill. That's what 38 years of marriage get you. But I'll always have your picture!
