Today's Flowers: Queen for a day

flowers

I've decided to join in the fun at Today's Flowers, where every Monday (er, Sunday evening) we can view flower contributions from bloggers around the globe. It's sort of like Skywatch Friday, only it's with flowers rather than skies. And you should all know by now that flowers are some of my favorite subjects.
This is Queen Anne's Lace taken with my macro lens. They look happy to me.

Hi, Kate

Hi Kate, your flowers look like lace, so the name is very appropriate. Beautiful photo.

Isn't it amazing how far this plant has spread. It is a very nice flower and grows in the side ditches and long roads here where I live. Insects love it.

We had the tail end of Hurricane Ike here all day. I lost my cherry tree and a lot of limbs. The neighbors lost three trees and they fell on a power line and that weight broke the power pole. Not a good day here in SW Ohio.

Mine are on Canon Pixels
