Sylvia loves me

Photobucket
Overnight, very
Whitely, discreetly,
Very quietly

Our toes, our noses
Take hold on the loam,
Acquire the air.

Nobody sees us,
Stops us, betrays us;
The small grains make room.

Excerpt from Sylvia Plath's "Mushrooms"

Yes, it is odd how they just appear overnight, isn't it? Great shot -- very moody lighting! And I love the poem. :)

Hey, I just got up and read this. I took it during magic hour, you know that hour before the sun goes down and everything is just golden? When I opened it up in Photoshop, I noticed how moody and dark it looked. Hence the Sylvia Plath. She sometimes had those tendencies, didn't she?

I think if you look up "dark and moody" in the dictionary, there is a picture of Sylvia Path, right?

Great shot! Am I being petty if your photo blog is breaking my heart this week? ;)

Mornin, Dlyn. Not at all. I think of you and not having your camera whenever I take a pic. I'm so sorry.
