I have GOT to start screening my guests
Get it? Screening? Oy.
I don't know who this fella is, but he's got some sort of stinger on his butt and he looks pretty mean. However, I felt myself mesmerized by the intracacy of his wings.

Ewwwww! Ick! You are brave!
LOL ... funny gal ... :)
That is a nifty-looking bug -- the wings look like stained glass ...
Yes, definitely intriguing wing design. Looks almost like....what is it.....capiz shells?
HA! Love the title! He is definitely scary-looking, but beautiful, too. Great macro! The screen looks cool, too.
Remind me to tell you about the stink bugs some time...
What a clever title! You obviously can be very creative at 6:00 am.
I think I made an error in buying my Canon Rebel...all the great shots I see online are made with a Nikon.
good job
Awesome shot!! His wings are so unique!!
As long as it was on the OUTSIDE of the screen, it's very interesting. If it was on the inside, I'd find a shoe to smoosh it with.
Great shot!
*hugs*
Deb, go to www.thepioneerwoman.com and click on her photography section. Ree owns both a Canon and a Nikon and did a post on one vs. the other.
Also, you NEED to visit Abraham Lincoln's blog at http://canonpixels.blogspot.com/. You made a great choice with your Canon. And I apologize, in advance, if I've taken you too literally. I tend to do that!
Mary, I look forward to the story!
Jeannelle, I think you're right! And Shimmy, I'd probably not smoosh him unles he attacked me!

What a shot! This "bug" is exciting to look at, even thouh I don't like bugs at all.
You'd better start screening your guests - yeah you should ;-D
That is one serious insect. Eeeeee. Those legs...and a stinger too. Eeeeee. I don't think I've photographed any bugs with stingers yet...and I think I'm not going to start. :-) Those wing are exceptionally beautiful though.
Beautiful shot.. you got daringly close! :)
Wow! Intricate, indeed. Awesome photo.

When I see a shot like this, I long for a macro lens. Brilliant.
