Misty Moisty Morning

Photobucket
One misty moisty morning,
when cloudy was the weather,
I chanced to meet an old man
Clothed all in leather.

He began to compliment
And I began to grin --
"Well how do you do" and "How do you do"
And "How do you do" again . . .

~ from an old English nursery rhyme

Beautiful photograph!
This is one of my all time favorite rhymes. When I was in second grade I was in this advanced reading class where we worked with college students and ended up going to their class and reciting a poem. This was my poem of choice. I still remember it and recite it to myself and my children quite frequently.

Lovely photo! I adore shots with drops of water on things. We're supposed to get 6 inches of rain in the next few days. I might have to drag my camera outside and see what I can capture.

Oh Kate, that is SO beautiful! It's funny, but I almost posted something similar today. I couldn't think what to write about it though... Love the rhyme -- it's perfect. :)

Oh, and what happened to the link on your sidebar to "Chronicles?"

Have a great weekend!
xoxo,
Mary

You really have a nice blog with awesome pictures. I have scrolled up and down and I am so fascinated by them all.

It was so nice of you to step by my blog and leave a comment - which I really appreciated. I too love the header and the profile picture. It means something special to me. You can read about it further down on my side bar.

See you!

I am so pleased with the Google Translater, even if it is sometimes hilarious to read the translation. Anyway it gives you some clues about what I'm talking about ;-D

I'll add you to my blogroll too!

Hello!
Your photos are fantastic! So sharp, and yet so natural - I'm still an amateur and I really appreciate getting advices from someone with more experience
