Skywatch Friday: Morning skies

Photobucket
This photo was taken from my car window during the drive to work one day this week. When I walked out my front door that morning, the sky was pink, so I ran back inside and grabbed the camera just in case I came across a nice shot during the 45-minute ride. This was taken in Cecil County, Maryland.
To view skies from all over the globe, visit Skywatch Friday.

This is what we call Big Sky! How did the weather turn out? Looks like it could go either way.

But you did stop and pull over before you shot it, right? LOL

I like the clouds in your photo. It is very nice. It looks like barn silos there on the right side. Is that it?

My picture is at Canon Pixels

I do hope you weren't at the wheel!
Really nice shot.
Are those giant fungi edible? They'd feed half an army.

I love big sky. Love it. I don't care what the season or what the weather, or time of day, I love looking at a huge expanse of sky and clouds. You don't get such great big views in the city so it just makes it more special when I drive out to friends' houses in the country. Hopefully, one of these days I'll have some big sky over my head too...just have to figure out the best place in this area that has the least tornado and flood action.

I would have had a very hard time continuing on to work.
Looks like a good day to sit and stare at the horizon.
