Puff the magic mushroom

nature
I think I had a hat like this at one time.
This is a huge mushroom and I know, I know. I posted one yesterday. But I live just outside of the Mushroom Capital of the World and they grow big here, I guess.
When I touched the edges, I expected it to fold in where the "tucks" are, but it was solid.
To give you an idea of their size, I've posted a picture of George here, checking them out.

I can't believe how huge that thing is! Both posts, yesterday and today are beautiful. I especially love the lighting in yesterday's.

Thanks, Louise. I love yesterday's a lot. Today's is ok. But there's something about that fungus among us. Really.

I did a spit take on that one. You are hysterical! Those mushrooms are amazing, and I love your photos. Can you imagine George jumping back if the mushroom had moved while he was investigating it? They ARE kinda scary-looking...

Holy cow! That's huge. I've never seen a mushroom so big. No wonder the trolls can live under them! Great shots! They look very cool.
