Yellow moth
I found this moth having a little rest on our front lawn after George and I returned from the evening walk. I ran inside to get the camera and was surprised to find the moth still outside in the same position. I stroked it to make sure it wasn't dead and it was very soft. And quite alive, just moving a little slow.

Ooohhhh. I like that one. It does look fuzzy. And I'm amazed at home many colors are in it. From far away they just look white.
Great shot Kate!
*hugs*
What a terrific shot, Kate! Seeing it up close, it is so much more than just a white moth. So beautiful!

Beautiful moth and a great shot of it!
I don't do shots of bugs...because I'm a weeny...but I guess a moth is okay. I do butterflies though...
It really is cool how you captured so many colors in it.
Great site you have. I just got a Nikon D60 in late April and have been having a great time learning about it and using it!!
Love your pictures!!
Take care
Welcome, Sara G. I like your profile pic.
Thanks for your comments on my site! Your pictures are all great too!
My profile pic was taken at Caesar Creek Lake right after a snow storm. We took our new FJ Cruiser out to see how it handled the snow. Had an awesome time that day!!
