Ch-ch-ch-ch changes

Photobucket
Is it time to face the change yet? There's a hint of autumn in the air and on the forest floor, as evidenced in this leaf.
Don't get me wrong, for I enjoy summer. But autumn is a season I welcome. I just don't want it come TOO soon!

I'm COMPLETELY not ready for autumn and am sad beyond words that school starts this week, but that photo is a reminder that I will love the season when it arrives.

We've still got a few weeks till school starts, but they will be filled with soccer camp, and tryouts, and practice. I am definitely looking forward to fall!

You're seeing this already?? Wow! We've been sneaking (and crossing) up on 30C for the past week, with more of the same predicted for the upcoming week. Granted, that's pretty normal for August here, but that doesn't make it any easier. We're really looking forward to when things cool down.

Louise, I can't believe school starts so early for you.

Mary, I'm looking forward to it, too. I roasted a chicken tonight after stuffing it with rosemary and lemons and the whole house smelled like, well like autumn.

Boubou's, welcome here. And yes, there aren't many red leaves about yet, and I'm sure you are seeing many more in Canada.

Lovely shot, but OH I'm not ready for the cooler weather yet. We had a late spring and summer here and I'm not ready to give up my warm weather yet.

Hi country Girl, to answer your question about CDP, it stands for City Daily Photo. Its where my Nottingham blog is published.

Great colours in the leaf. Autumn is on its way here too.

Welcome from England, Gail's man. Glad you stopped by here. For those who do not know, I've been conributing to Paintbox Pictures (see link on side border) where Gail's man is also contributing. My blogger friend, Jeannelle, from Midlife in Farmlight, suggested this. It's a fun and different way to show your pictures!
