Patience
A female cardinal waits patiently for her turn at one of the bird feeders on the Dogwood tree in our front yard. I spent the afternoon with a glass of chardonnay, my camera and a book as it's the last Monday I have off this summer. Regular school hours start this week.
Oh, and let's keep the chardonnay thing to ourselves, shall we?

LOL ... our lips are sealed ... :)
Sounds like a wonderful way to spend a Monday.
Beautiful photo you captured.
She's beautiful, Kate -- great capture! Maybe a glass of wine would help give me the patience to photograph more dragonflies! LOL
Your secret is safe with me. Nice capture!
Amazing I love this shot! The colours are so vibrant and the bird looks so cute.
A perfect last vacation day if you ask me! I start this Thursday. It's been a FAST summer!
That's a really really really good picture. I like your blog.
