In the meadow
I took this with my regular lens during my morning walk with George. Normally, I don't walk through the meadow, but it was the quickest way to the pond. Now that I'm home and my shoes are soaked, I'd like to wish you a wonderful Saturday.

Yes, our thistles are out, too. I love that unexpected shot of purple amid all the green. We don't have any as graceful as yours, though! That curving stem is beautiful.
Hope your feet are dry now. Does that mean that we will be seeing some pond pics soon? Have a great weekend. :)

Yes, Mary. It's exactly what it means! The pond is small but beautiful.
And I'm sure you have thistle in NJ that's as graceful as this!

Sorry about your soaked shoes, something I'm not fond of......MY soaked shoes, that is.
The thistle has a lovely bloom, which you captured beautifully!
Thanks always for visiting.....you leave such very good comments!

Sometimes soaked shoes are just worth it. Love the depth of this lovely photo.
