George and I came upon the two resident farm cows up by the dead tree at twilight. They looked like they were up to something. Frankly, I think they were just scratching themselves on the lovely assortment of wood.
I mean, this is about as exciting as it gets around here. Cows scratching themselves on wood? Oi vey.

It reminds me of a "The Far Side" cartoon, but they got caught! Cute.
Louise they do look like a Far Side Cartoon. They look a little erked that you caught them though. Be careful, I hear that cows like to get revenge. They might lift a tail the next time they see your camera.
Ah but aren't they such relaxing creatures. Cows in the meadow always make me want to go and lie down amongst them and just look at the clouds or wave my legs in the air and have them all come around me worshipfully gazing...or maybe just thnking "harrumph, what an idiot".
