Alice's Restaurant
I was looking through my picture files and came upon this one that I'd taken in June during my trip to Jim Thorpe, PA with my friend, Karen. We had breakfast at this restaurant and I remember it being one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. And it wasn't just because an older gentleman was sitting at a table nearby and flirting shamelessly with us.

what a great sign -- so whimsical!
And now I've got that song in my head:
"You can get anything you want --
at Alice's Restaurant (excepting Alice...)
HA! This is quite a coincidence! I just finished reading Alice's Adventures and Through the Looking Glass last night.
Great picture, so VIVID!
Cute sign, one of my favorite books, but the images don't match!
Of course both the late rabbit and the Mad Hatter are from "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," not "Through the Looking Glass."
I wonder how many times a day the poor staff has to hear that complaint? I think I'll have to go to Jim Thorpe and set them straight...
Capt. Ben, you're right! I'd not noticed that before. I think you will have to go to Jim Thorpe and set them straight. You'll have a great time there, too. The place is beautiful!
