Kate, I want to thank you for your email about PS and for the info about how to work my way into learning more. In addition, I'm so grateful for the photography tips you give us. I nominated you for the kreativ blogger award. You'll find more info on my blog.
What a great photo and a gorgeous dog. We had a cat named George that was 17, black and white and passed away last August. I always think of him when you post about your George. Love your posts.
My name is Kate. I live in Maryland with a border collie named George in an old manor house that predates the Revolutionary War. I began this blog in 2007 to share my photography with my family and friends. Welcome.

Oh George - you're so cute!
A George stare down. I wonder who will win. Of course it will be George The Great.

New title for this photo:
"George-on-Squirrel-Crack"
(sorry, CG, jest came in my mind & I went with it....)
Yes, you can tell by the look. Same as my Country when she's watching the horses!
Hehe! It looks like he is working hard to hold himself back!
{{{{{George!}}}}}
That look in his eye is sort of scary funny ...
a dog with a mission ...
Hello! great your all pictures are very nice. you know i am using nikon D80 with segma 18-200mm lens as well,
I want to know how you keep his white so white!! He's beautiful :)
I think it was the lens that brought out so much white. He's really not bright white. I used the 50 mm and it lets a lot of light in.
Thanks, all. Oh, and thanks for the award, Jeanne.

George is a beautiful dog and very photogenic. It helps that he like our Brittany Spaniel doesn't let anything distract when they see a squirrel!

I've seen that look before George. Lily feels the same way. She knows the word so it's saved for the real thing. No false alarms allowed!
Go get 'em!!
George is very handsome!
OMG! "SQUIRREL!" Too funny. Makes me laugh every time I see it.
