That green looks so beautiful against the brown grasses!
That is one thing I love about living in the South is we have so many evergreen trees. When winter arrives, it is the only glimpse of life around here. This winter has so far been very dreary with many more cloudy days than sunny days. Of course, I have always been partial to the evergreen!
Tenacious is the perfect word;)
