New growth
The light was all wrong, but I went ahead anyway and took this macro photo of a bloom that's on my one houseplant. I'm not even sure of the name of this large green leaved, bushy plant.
I used to have lots of plants. But somehow, over the years, they disappeared. Especially after that last move. That about did me in.

LOL, now we're talking! Flowerotica! :D
It looks like a Peace Lily. Beautiful name for a plant huh, and fits it so well because it always seems to be at, well, peace.
I have to admit that I thought the same thing as Olivia. What do you suppose that says about me? LOL
It's a spathophyllum....beautiful shot!
Beautiful picture! I LOVE how you can see the little bumps on the bud!
I SO need a new camera...and to know how to use it!
I started a Picture a day DIARY with my little canon...SO FUN!
A new bud...a new year...new beginnings...new experiences.
beautiful! that is so pretty.
Mental P, I knew you'd know what kind of plant this was!
Oh, it's flowerotical? Cool. And I'm usually the one with the dirty mind.
Metabolic, I'll have to check out your site. There's nuthin' wrong with a little Canon.
Lovely - sometimes you get the best photos when the light is "wrong".
Nothing wrong here! Perfect light, perfect angle, perfect depth of field, perfect color, perfect picture!
New growth signals new life....or is that the other way around....whichever, lovely shot.
