I continue my fascination with the progress of the lilac bush in the backyard. One of the first photos I took is here. And I'll continue to give you updates until the blessed day when the blooms completely open and the scent transports me somewhere heavenly.

I so anticipate the blooming of my lilacs. I wait all year for them and then try to enjoy them enough to keep me until next year. I love the scent!!

I love lilacs, they are my favorite spring flowers. And the smell is heavenly....Now I can't wait until mine bloom!
Awesome photo! I was on a walk last evening and caught some wiffs of blooming lilac ... and you're right .... it's an amazing, heavenly scent!
