Imprint

Imprint


I didn't notice each leaf until later when I was looking at the picture. There is an imprint on each of the leaves that, when unfurled, shows where it was layered against the plant. Pretty cool, eh?
Taken at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA in the silver room. That's where all the cacti, succulents and plants that are green/silver are located.

I just now commented on Pam's Digging blog how much I want one of these plants! Yes, the indentions are so beautiful. I have them on one of my agaves that is similar.

It's pretty cool what you see sometimes when you look a little closer at your photos. This one is certainly a surprise because I've never seen anything like it before.
