The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Fog enshrouds this lonely lamppost at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania last weekend.
And looking at this photo just reminded me of something. I read that entire series of C.S. Lewis books as a bedtime story to my sons when they were small. It was extremely easy to get them bathed and in their pajamas for quite some time, for they were enthralled with these books. A was I.

What an awesome pic, it really does make me feel like I have just stepped out of the wardrobe into Narnia. I love those books, anything by C.S. Lewis really =)

When I look at this photo, I think of the Headless Horseman chasing Ichabod Crane...

Beautiful photo Kate! I so hope to make it to Longwood Gardens someday. Maybe I'll even see that lamppost!

This brought back a lot of memories. Isn't it amazing what a picture and a few words can do.

Somewhat eerie feeling it gives me. I guess it's the fog.
