Lovely

DSC_0290 copy 2

I took this photo earlier this month at our school's auction. That's my friend, Adrienne on the left, with my long-time friend Mary on the right. You may remember Mary from this post on my other blog. Mary's son, Zach, who graduated with my youngest, was our auctioneer for the evening . I'm not usually one for portraiture but I liked this shot. I used Kevin Kubota's Secret Formula on it, from his B&W action set.

They are lovely...and thank you, too, for the compliment. ;) You'll have to explain using actions to me. I have a couple of sets that I downloaded from Pioneer Woman, but for some reason I simply cannot get them to "work" on my photos... they do nothing. It's very disappointing, as I see them used with such great results everywhere else. Is there a trick to them that I'm missing?

Love the processing on this! It is a really beautiful portrait; they must be thrilled with it. :)
