"Hope" is the thing with feathers

Photobucket
Similar to my penchant for mushrooms, I also have a thing for feathers. It's simple things like this that I find on my walks that make me get down on the ground, on their level. Things look different from down there, you know.

"Hope" is the thing with feathers—

That perches in the soul—

And sings the tune without the words—

And never stops—at all—

~ Emily Dickinson

Ah, first mushrooms, now feathers... It is amazing what you find to shoot when you get down low, isn't it?
