reminds me of the color of a chamois that is all worn and soft and buttery to the touch...perfect in every way.

I too, have a Nikon D80, and your blog makes me wish I had a dog to walk so I could wander and take photos everyday... I really appreciate the photos you're taking with the macro lens; I especially love macro photography and have had a macro lens on my wish list for some time! I live in SoMD, and find the similarities and differences in the local landscapes and flora to be interesting.
