Little bug
While at Bombay Hook the other day, I noticed some yellow wildflowers growing by the roadside, so I pulled over and changed lenses to take this photo. The weather was perfect, however there was a gently blowing breeze and I waited between gusts to get this little shot.

A sweet little beetle and a sunny flower. I clicked over to read about Bombay Hook. Looks like a fascinating place; I understand why you would like to visit there. Are there more photos of that area to come, perhaps?
That little bug sure does cast a big shadow....
when I saw the title of your photo I expected so see a picture of a V.W.
Now this just makes me smile... :)
What is in the background? Perfect blend of subject and muted background. love it..
There are brown grasses in the background. It's what made me really love this photo, Deb!
Sue, I used to have a little VW Beetle, the new model. It was so fun to drive.
Well look at that..what a cute little bug! Great shot.
Now how did that bug know to hang out on a color coordinating flower? One smart bug! lol!
I've never seen that particular beetle before but it's really neat looking!
