Favorite things: Little bee
I've had this little bee for years and it's really much tinier than it appears in this photograph. It's all of two inches and was given to me as a Christmas gift by one of my favorite people in the world. Wherever I've lived, I've always had this little bee hanging where I can easily see it. It was my eldest son who gave it to me when he was in about 7th or 8th grade and every time it catches my eye, I think happy thoughts.
The other good thing about it is that it doesn't have a stinger. Ha!

What a fancy looking little bee. Lovely shot...thank you for sharing...=)
I love it! What special memories for you to share with your son.
I can totally see why it makes you smile... because of the sentiment attached to it and also because it's cute! That's a great perspective too. It looks like it's flying. Or hovering - just like the thoughts of your son. :)
Love it. I have little keepsakes like that too.
*hugs*
