I took these photos yesterday afternoon during the snowstorm. My husband took the one on the far right. I know I should be thinking spring, but I am just loving all this snow. This afternoon, as we were sitting out in the sunshine, my husband and I both agreed that if we were given a choice between this weather and the hot humid heat of the summer, we'd take this.

I was so thankful the birds were out in my neck of the woods today. It has been so stark and white and grey and cold with no tweeting anywhere! Funny how the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
I enjoy winter too. I like the snow, but several weeks of all grey white brown colorless landscape really does a toll on the senses!

I love this mosaic of the birds. With our forecast, I'll be out scouting similar shots tomorrow. We keep saying, "maybe this is the last one (snowstorm) of the season." But they keep on coming! Enjoy your snow days :) -Tammy
I loved seeing the cardinals. I've lived in Arizona the past 40 years and have never seen one here. I grew up in the Piney Woods of East Texas where they are abundant and do miss them sorely.

Love the cardinals -- I think they were my favorite bird when I lived on the east coast. Now I have to love my resident bald eagle and the ruby-throated hummingbird.
This is wonderful, Kate! I miss seeing all the birds at the feeders. We quit having feeders close to the house because they brought squirrels who then found their way into our attic... :)
