Country jewels
There was a present waiting for me when I got up this morning. Now I know that most of you don't consider an ice storm to be a present. But this wasn't a big storm; it was small and is now melting. But for several hours this morning, the world where I live looked like a jewel. And I looked on it as a present.

It doesn't look real, does it? To me, I see diamonds so brillant you could wear on your finest coat. But don't mind me...I'm supposed to be taking a blooging break today!
Nature's jewels, indeed! Lovely photo, Kate.
So pretty!!! Isn't it wonderful to wake up to a world made new? Beautiful. :)
A beautiful crown.
Mother Nature has a beautiful way doesn't she?
If you want to see our 'ice storm' check out my blog. We were attacked by our trees. Darn trees.

hope you are managing to keep warm. it is sooo windy here....brrr
It is very pretty!
Oh, this is just gorgeous, like specially-crafted delicate glass! Wow! Now, that is just the right amount of ice to have....just enough to create a few small beautiful scenes!
So pretty! Merry Christmas to you!
Ice can be so beautiful....and yet it can be so damaging too. Lovely photo. I enjoy our icy, frosty, snowy mornings....they paint the world in a different way.
