To give credit where credit is due, this is one of my husband's photos. He took it this morning during a glorious sunrise as I was leaving for work. This is the top of the house where we live. To get up there, one has to climb a ladder and then do some tricky footwork. Not for the feint of heart.

Skywatch Friday: February sunset
Sunset last weekend in Maryland at our house on the hill. I used a texture on this that I downloaded from DeviantArt. I kinda like it.

Skywatch Friday: Oh, Sycamore
I love sycamore trees. Their bark adds so much visual interest when all the trees are bare.

Skywatch Friday: Coming home
Imagine what it would be like to be coming home to a house like this? Maybe there's a fire going in the fireplace, and dinner cooking on the stove, the scents filling the entryway.
I don't know. It would just be nice.

Skywatch Friday: Leaving New York City
Driving south on the Jersey Turnpike just after coming out of the Holland Tunnel, this photo was taken last weekend and is my offering for this week's Skywatch theme.

Skywatch Friday: Memories of Ocracoke
The path to the beach leads to our own little spot by the ocean. This was taken in November 2006 when my husband took me for my birthday to Ocracoke Island, off the coast of North Carolina. The weather was wonderful.

Skywatch Friday: Cupola at school
This is the cupola that's on the roof of the main section of our school. I think it's beautiful.

Skywatch Friday: Morning skies
This photo was taken from my car window during the drive to work one day this week. When I walked out my front door that morning, the sky was pink, so I ran back inside and grabbed the camera just in case I came across a nice shot during the 45-minute ride. This was taken in Cecil County, Maryland.

Skywatch Friday: From my car window
I didn't have my 'real' camera with me today, but I happened to have the little Sony Cybershot point & shoot that belongs to the school where I'm employed. As I was driving home from work, I happened to glance to my left and saw this view that I thought was quite nice. Luckily no one was behind me, so I rolled down the window and grabbed a quick pic.

Night and Day,
you are the one.
(sing along with me here . . .)
Only you beneath the moon or under the sun
Whether near to me, or far
It's no matter darling where you are
I think of you
Day and night, night and day.

"You talkin' to me, dog?
I say, are YOU TALKIN' TO ME?"
Quick now, I know you can all name the movie in which these lines are spoken.

Skywatch Friday: A new dawn is coming
I took this picture last Friday, on the morning of our scheduled move from Maryland. This is the last sunrise I will see over my beloved pond. Not to worry, though, for I've captured it for eternity now.
You are invited to see all the Skywatch Pictures here at Tom Wigley & friends' new Skywatch site. If you have a little time, please go on over and check out what others see from their vantage points all around the world!

Skywatch Friday: George catching the frisbee
Yep, that's my dog there, leaping up and catching the frisbee. I took this picture a few weeks ago and George has gotten even better at catching them since then. Today he turns a year old.
Readers are urged to visit Tom Wigley's site and check out all the Skywatch Friday entries. Tom lives in England and hosts the weekly Skywatch on Fridays. Thanks, Tom!
