Red berries and old birdhouse

Red berries and birdhouse
All the leaves have gone, and the berries remain. It was a deliciously beautiful day in Maryland this past Sunday. And life was good.

Oooooooooo, this is so beautiful!! Are these the same kind of berries you took in the rain a few days ago? I wish I knew your trees better. Is either of them dogwood? Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Oh - the color of the berries. Gives me the feeling of christmas, only because of the color.

Thanks for all your warming comments. I appreciate them all. Just wish I had more time to visit my friends and leave comments, but right now my days are filled with work work work. I think I'll quit my job. Soon ...

Enjoy your December days. And show us all the beauty you capture in this season.

Beautiful shot! Seeing these seasonal images makes me sometimes wish for the colder climes. Then I shiver thinking of the cold and enjoy my shorts & sandals.
