Afternoon on the verandah

Afternoon on the verandah

Taken June 2008 at the Inn at Jim Thorpe, Jim Thorpe, PA. It's a cool little town to visit.

This is a delightful photo - I wish I was actually sitting there watching people and cars go past! xxx

Such a serene setting. I grew up in a town like this, so this really takes me back. Front porches get you to know everyone on your street. Ah, the good ol' days. (I sound like an old fart.)

:D

I love that railing too. Would love to have some to fence off a small garden area.

This reminds me of something out of "Somewher In Time" which happens to be my very favorite all-time movie.

I want to come sit on the verandah with you and a glass of iced tea and just pass the time with you.

Beautiful picture.
