Summer Stock Sunday

To me, summer means a lot of things. And a girl's gotta eat. Last week we had Kahn's hot dogs and corn on the cob for dinner. And it felt like summer.

Finches at feeder

I figured out what was wrong with me and the lens. I removed the polarizing filter and voila! I could focus. I don't know what my problem was, but am now loving this borrowed lens. And speaking french.

I took this photo in the spring of 2008. I just liked this bottle stopper, which just broke last weekend. I need to find another use for it.

Favorite things: Afternoon light

I happened to walk through the dining room this weekend and was taken by surprise at the way the light was coming in and making everything glow. I love when that happens.
