Cinnamon lace

This was taken in the fern garden that ran alongside of the cabin where we vacationed in Maine this past week.
So good to be home. Ok, I'm lying because I wish I could stay there all summer long but it's good to be home safe and sound. Hot as hell here, though . . .

Ah . . . Another day, another mosaic. When will I tire of this? In the center is a textured photo that I was playing with yesterday. I think it's groovy, man.

Going green at our place

Well, in this photo at least. Taken New Year's Day morning with the macro lens. This is the aloe plant that we keep on the kitchen windowsill on the eastern side of the house. I just love how green and lush it looks.
