Morning on the water

View of Mt. Desert Island
Early morning view of Acadia National Park from our rental cottage in Gouldsboro, Maine. If I remember correctly, the mountains from left to right are Sargent Mountain, then Dorr, then Cadillac at the highest. The Porcupine Islands are in the forefront. There's nowhere else on the east coast of the US where you have mountains at the sea.

Thank you for taking me to beloved Maine today. When the warm weather approaches I long to take a break from the wild west and head to its pristine beauty. I won't get to Maine this summer-but in looking at your photographs I feel as though I'm there.

My two favorite things - Mountains and Sea - all in one! I really must visit this lovely area.

As always your image is amazing!
