Little lilac bud
I thought the lilac bush was a goner after a tree fell on it last fall. It broke my heart to see it. There's only half a bush now but it's budding. And this makes me glad.
SkeletalMess texture applied, soft light at around 50% opacity.

Beautiful shot. Love the processing.
Hey, what's this that I'm feeling? I've not felt this very often. I do think that it might be...no, not me...ouch, yes...a bit of jealousy going on here.
Kate. I want lilac bud's too :)
Shrubs/bushes are more hearty then we give them credit for, I bet it gives you a lot of lovely fragrant blooms this spring ..
Yay little tree that could!
This is a beautiful photograph. Love the texture usage!
so lovely
I'm thrilled that she's coming back for another spring
lovely photograph! I used to live in a house that had a very large lilac in the back garden. One of my favorite things to do was go look at the buds a few times a week in the spring to watch their evolution. I really miss that as lilacs are my favorite flower. Thanks for bringing this back to me and I hope there are more photos as spring goes along...
Soon it will be bursting open!
