Indian corn

Indian Corn
Indian corn from my husband's garden. I'm trying to slowly get back to updating this blog. This morning I decided to open some pictures I'd taken before my surgery last week. For this shot, I used Michelle Black's Vintage Mod on the photo, then applied two different textures. One is from Joy St. Claire, a freebie she offered and the other is Antique Liasons from Flypaper Textures. My husband grows indian corn every year and uses it to decorate. I like that about him.

Very neat shot!! Love what you've done with it.
How neat to grow your own decorations! I've heard about people growing gourds for bird houses...I'm thinking about it!

Glad you are taking your time getting back into the swing of things! Welcome home.

I love the starburst pattern on some of the kernels! So beautiful! And the textures/actions just enhance the natural beauty.

Missed you while you were incapacitated! But, so glad that you had people who love you, taking care of you.

This is a wonderful photo. I remember going on a field trip when I was in the fourth grade. We went to a farm that grew indian corn and gourds and all kinds of unusual things. It was very interesting and your picture brought back those memories.

Thank you!
