Sunflower unfurling
I love how this sunflower looks! Its new life, with its little tendrils reaching to the sun, just about to bloom.
It almost reminds me of my children, when they left for college.
Or something like that. Don't mind me. I'm just in a contemplative mood is all.

Thank you ;)
What sort of camera do you use for these photos? Fabulous...! As for children leaving for uni..I remember how my ex boyfriend's mum felt when her kids left...every mother goes through it, it would seem... letting little birds fly...I have that to look forward to I guess! :(
This is a beautiful pic.
stunning piece of natural art kate!
Just amazing! thanks for sharing this site with us too!
Oh my. Very much like a baby off to college...opening up day by day....
The petal almost look like they are basket weaved together. So much stem it almost overwhelms the petals.
Somehow I think letting go will be much more difficult than I anticipate.
So very beautiful! ***sigh**
So sweet all curled up .. like its got its eyes scrunched shut: I dont wanna get up now ...
Just gorgeous. I see what you mean about it reminding you of children. It reminds me of my baby girl; all the promise and hope for a beautiful life for her. P.S. there are new photos of her posted on my blog!
Beautiful. Love the colors.
