Yesteryear in Mathews, Virginia
I took a lot of photos while I was in Virginia last month. This is on Main Street.
I really don't think you want to hear what I did to this photo, so I'll just say that I'm experimenting. I like to do that.

So pretty! And experimenting is fun!
It gives me some ideas to do with my own fence.
I'd love to know what you did to it. ;)
It's fan-tab-u-lous, btw!
Whatever experimentation you did turned out beautifully stunning. I really like this one.
Well, if you really want to know (and Mary, I sent you an e-mail about it), I used the method I posted about yesterday. The link is here:

Then I used a pale color wash over the building. The tutorial is here:

I've got a long way to go, but I'll get the hang of it. And you can too, if you're into this sort of thing!

I like the tinting
What ever you did is wonderful! I am with Mary..do tell your secret!
The wild rose varitey has always been my favorite as they are much hardier than the fussy the traditional rose bush which I have not had much luck with.
And it's ok to post about Mathew County...we love it.
How did I miss this? And I think The Baroness was keeping an eye on you!
That lady on the right hand side in the background is giving you the look!
Ramona
Did you know The Baroness was peeping?
Lovely!
I love the effect of whatever you did. The colors are wonderful!
I don't think I'll ever tire of your Matthews photos!!
Well what ever you did to get that shot it was worth it. Very pretty. =)
