Taken from the car window at Acadia National Park in Maine, this is the Gatehouse at Jordan Pond. I was surprised to see the car parked in front of the garage and hear it's now a private residence. You can read more [here] about the carriage roads in Acadia National Park.

Oooo, that's so pretty -- like the gatehouse to an English manor...
such a lovely capture...love all the stone work and that beautiful picture window :)
What a pretty place to live. Neat.

What a sweet Tudor ...
it's a beautiful spot - wouldn't it be wonderful to live there?
Wouldn't that be a cool home to live in? Well, except for the tourist driving by taking photos of it. *g
This is just beautiful.
It's actually housing for park employees. Sad to say, it's not that cool on the inside. Bit spartan, really.
