Today I like pink
I'm not really a pink person. I rarely, if ever, wear the color but it doesn't mean I don't like it. I took this at the farm store last week and the tag said it was a Lenten rose. Mental P will correct this if it's wrong. She's great when it comes to plants. I posted something pink on my other blog today, too.

Ooooh...lovely. (That's what it looks like to me.)
It is quite beautiful. I'm not a pink person either. But anyone would appreciate this luscious flower!

Now that is one eye-catching flower! Lovely color too.
This is weird, but Lenten Roses were something my mother always wanted me to plant in my shade garden. I don't think they're particularly hardy in this zone, or I would have many of them. There is one other flower my mother loved, and I'm waiting to see if it shows up here this season;) The begonias and this have been wonderful treats!
very pretty
It's beautiful, Kate! It is a Lenten Rose, also known as Hellebore. I had a beautiful pink one last year, but it seems to have died over the winter. :( I'm still waiting to see if my white ones will bloom this year... And they also come in a sort of pale lime green, which I would LOVE to have...
A beauty! I like pink too!
Good job on capturing such a beautiful flower..:)
