Winter remnant

Winter's remnant
The shape caught my eye when I saw this on the grass at our rental cottage in Maine. I wondered how it escaped being crushed with the heavy weight of snow. I love the swirls.

Cold snap

Cold snap
This leaf looks like it's covered with spun sugar. And baybee it's cold outside on this beautiful morning in Maryland. Yesterday's muddy trail is now a crunchy frozen one. I love January.
Seriously. I do.
Michelle Black's Vintage Mod action applied; old Ghostbones (now SkeletalMess) texture as well. (The same one I used on the female cardinal, below).

Tiny dancer

Dancing leaves

I love the shape of the leaf to the right center. Florabella's Retro Vintage action @90%; Florabella's Patina (cool) overlay @17%; SkeletalMess' Tone Texture-9 overlay @46%. Photo by husband, who didn't think it was all that and a bag of chips (like I did).

Autumn leaves

Autumn leaves
I saw these leaves while I was walking today and had to go get my camera. I loved how dark the background was against the golden tones. I ran two actions from Totally Rad on them: Rusty Cage 40% and Oh Snap! 20%. Another beautiful fall day here in Maryland. Have a great weekend, all!
