After taking shots of the full moon last night, I turned around and was rewarded with a sky full of beautiful pink tinted clouds. It made me smile.
Thinking of changing the name of this blog to a Picture a Week. I just can't keep up with things sometimes . . .

I've had that happen before too - the first time was taking pictures on Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The sunset fizzled as the sun got lower and lower. We finally turned around to go back to the car and it was just beautiful pinks, purples, grays & oranges - in the sky to the east.
Since then we've been much more careful to check the sky in all directions before declaring it a no go.
