Mary Mahoney's
Sorry I haven't been keeping up with what this blog is titled. You'd think I could at least come up with a single picture a day, wouldn't you?
This is Mary Mahoney's, one of the South's most unique restaurants, located in Biloxi, MS. Established as a restaurant in 1964, it is actually situated in a home that was built in 1737, making it even older than the home I live in (1769). And I hear that the food is absolutely fantastic.

Balcony, New Orleans
The colors of this building's facade combined with the shutters caught my eye as I strolled the streets of New Orleans last week while visiting friends.

Beach at Biloxi Bay, MS
Our friends took us to this beach after we arrived Easter Sunday. We walked along and marveled at how much better it looks. There are still gaping holes in the landscape of the Gulf Coast from Katrina five years ago.

Setting the table for Easter dinner
We're on a Road Trip and have stopped at the home of dear friends that we've known since we were teenagers. My husband and W hid eggs in the yard for the little ones. It's been a long time since I've gotten to watch children search for eggs. Adorable.
I don't know when I'll have another post up on this blog. We plan on returning some time over the coming weekend.

Early spring morning
My husband and I are on our way to visit friends in the south but we're making a detour to visit a place we've never before been. I won't be posting for at least a week on this blog, but will try to update on the Chronicles blog. Wish us luck!
