Meg of Maine
She came with her mother to Blog Fest in Virginia, sharing the driving all the way from the state of Maine. What girl wouldn't want to spend 4 days with friends of her mother? I'm sure she thought it would be a blasty blast. Not.
But she was wrong. She ended up having the most wonderful time of her life. And she cried when she left us. I meet a lot of cool kids working at my school. And Meg honey, you are at the top of my list, girl.
By the way folks, she was stung by a jelly fish shortly before I shot this photo. First aid was applied and I'll leave that to your imagination because we all know what the best thing for a jellyfish sting is, don't we? But look at this intrepid traveler. She rocks.

Easy to photograph a girl as stunning as Meg. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and listening to her laugh!!!
OMG, that's gorgeous! I mean really stunning.
Yes, I'm her mama, and I'm bloody proud of that, but seriuously Kate, that's one hell of a photograph. She might not want a copy, but I do.
I can't wait for her to get back from the movies so I can show her this. Thank you so much for all the lovely words.
I am, once again, moved to tears.
Thank you.
Has there ever been a more photographable young woman? Impossible. You captured her SO well.
Lovely of spirit as well as of face.
A beautiful, beautiful girl.
That SMILE of hers! I just makes me smile right back, thinkin' on how cool she is.
Yep, I choked up a little bit here at my lovely young namesake. Even though this was right before we had to administer the, um, FIRST AID....
No, seriously, what a photo. And what material. She was one of the highlights of the weekend for sure!
Lovely, Miss Kate

She is as lovely inside as she is out and a thousand watt smile maybe why her (also beautiful)Mama calls her Megawatt!

Nice words, Kate!
Poor kids comes all the way to Virginia to get stung and pee'd on all in the same day! A day she'll surely never forget!
You can see the openess and positive attitude of Meg in this photo. Not to mention her incredible skin! I'm glad she was able to relax and have a wonderful time with adult woman. It shows her maturity.
